The Arduino Nano V3.0 is a compact, breadboard-friendly development board built around the ATmega328 microcontroller, giving you the same functionality as the Arduino® Uno in a smaller footprint, with a Mini-B USB connector and no DC barrel jack taking up space on the board.

Specifications

  • Microcontroller: Atmel ATmega328
  • Operating Voltage (logic level): 5V
  • Input Voltage (recommended): 7-12V
  • Input Voltage (limits): 6-20V
  • Digital I/O Pins: 14 (6 provide PWM output)
  • Analog Input Pins: 8
  • DC Current per I/O Pin: 40mA
  • Flash Memory: 32KB (2KB used by bootloader)
  • SRAM: 2KB
  • EEPROM: 1KB
  • Clock Speed: 16MHz
  • Dimensions: 18mm x 45mm

This version is supplied unsoldered, with the header pins included separately so you can solder them yourself in whatever orientation suits your project, or skip headers entirely if you're soldering wires direct to the board. If you'd prefer headers already attached, we also stock the soldered Arduino Nano. A USB A to Mini-B cable is not included with this listing.

Expanding your Nano

Two shields are available if you want to build out a more permanent or accessible setup. The IO expansion prototype shield breaks out the pins for easier prototyping, while the terminal expansion shield gives you screw terminals for more secure wiring in permanent installs.

Compatible board, open source design

This Arduino Nano is a compatible board built from the open source design, manufactured to the same specifications as the official Arduino Nano v3.0. It works well for general projects, prototyping, and learning, though we recommend the official Arduino board for classroom and educational resources where compatibility is specifically referenced. If you need the genuine board, we stock the official Arduino Nano as well.
