Arduino Micro ATmega32U4 Official Development Board
Arduino Micro ATmega32U4 Official Development Board has a 5-10 day lead time before dispatch. Order will only be sent once all items are available for delivery.
The Arduino Micro is a microcontroller board built around the ATmega32U4, developed in conjunction with Adafruit. It features 20 digital input/output pins, with 7 available as PWM outputs and 12 as analog inputs. A 16 MHz crystal oscillator, micro USB connection, ICSP header, and reset button are all included on the board. Everything needed to get started is built in; just connect it to a computer with a micro USB cable and begin uploading code. Its compact form factor allows it to sit directly on a breadboard, making it convenient for prototyping.
Like the Arduino Leonardo, the Micro uses the ATmega32U4's built-in USB communication, removing the need for a secondary USB-to-serial chip. This lets the board appear to a connected computer as a mouse or keyboard, alongside a standard virtual serial (CDC) port. It's a solid choice for USB HID projects such as custom keyboards, macro pads, or automated input devices.
If you're after the same footprint and functionality at a lower cost, our Arduino Pro Micro compatible board offers similar ATmega32U4-based USB HID capability in a smaller package. For general purpose Arduino projects without the native USB HID requirement, our Arduino getting started guide covers the basics of setting up any Arduino board with the Arduino IDE.
