Wi-Fi HaLow Transceiver for Seeed Studio XIAO is a long-range Wi-Fi HaLow expansion board built around the FGH100M-H module, operating in the 902-928 MHz band for strong penetration and coverage well beyond standard 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. It's designed to snap directly onto pre-soldered Seeed Studio XIAO boards, with the XIAO ESP32 series recommended, making it a good fit for smart home and IoT projects that need range over a large area or through obstacles.

Long-Range Connectivity

The board complies with the IEEE 802.11ah standard and operates in the sub-GHz 902-928 MHz band, delivering coverage up to 1km with better wall and obstacle penetration than standard Wi-Fi, well suited to whole-property smart home deployments or outdoor IoT sensor networks.

Low Power Consumption

Power efficiency is a core design focus, making the board a practical choice for battery-powered or power-sensitive IoT devices that still need reliable long-range connectivity.

Robust Security

The board supports AES, SHA-256, SHA-384, and SHA-512, along with WPA3 encryption, giving it modern security coverage suitable for production IoT deployments rather than just prototyping.

Seamless XIAO Integration

At 42 x 25mm, the board snaps directly onto pre-soldered Seeed Studio XIAO boards, with the XIAO ESP32 series recommended for compatibility.

Note that this expansion board isn't directly compatible with the XIAO nRF54L15 series, since Arduino isn't currently supported on that board. The hardware interface itself is fully compatible, so developers can manually adapt the software if needed, and official software support from Seeed Studio is in development.
