L293D Motor Driver Shield – 4 Channel DC & Stepper Motor Control
L293D Motor Driver Shield – 4 Channel DC & Stepper Motor Control has a 5-10 day lead time before dispatch. Order will only be sent once all items are available for delivery.
The L293D Motor Driver Shield is a versatile and easy-to-use expansion board designed for controlling DC motors, stepper motors, and servo motors in Arduino-based projects. Built around dual L293D H-bridge driver ICs, this shield allows you to control up to four DC motors or two stepper motors, along with two servo motors, all from a single board.
Designed to stack directly onto compatible boards such as Arduino UNO, Mega, Duemilanove, and Leonardo, the shield simplifies wiring and reduces the number of pins required through its integrated 74HC595 shift register. This makes it ideal for robotics, automation systems, RC vehicles, and educational projects.
With support for motor voltages from 4.5V to 12V and logic voltage from 4.5V to 5.5V, the module suits a wide range of small to medium motors. Each channel provides up to 1.2A peak current with built-in thermal protection for reliable operation.
The board also includes dedicated servo ports connected to pins 9 and 10, external power terminals for separating logic and motor supply, and large screw terminals for easy wiring using 10–22AWG wire.
