ESP32 Screw Terminal Shield Expansion Board - 38 Pin
ESP32 Screw Terminal Shield Expansion Board - 38 Pin has a 5-10 day lead time before dispatch. Order will only be sent once all items are available for delivery.
This ESP32 screw terminal shield breaks out every pin of a 38 pin ESP32 board to labelled screw terminals. Wires clamp in securely with a screwdriver, so connections won't work loose the way jumper leads can. That makes it the better choice for permanent installs, enclosures, and anything with vibration or longer cable runs such as relays, sensors around a building or garden automation.
Fit note: the socket on this shield is a tight fit, and some ESP32 boards may need their pins bent slightly to seat fully. If you'd rather a straight plug-in fit, the 38 pin ESP32 shield suits standard boards like our ESP32 38 pin development board without any adjustment.
This shield is for 38 pin ESP32 boards only. For 30 pin boards, use the 30 pin ESP32 shield.
Features
- Screw terminal for every ESP32 pin
- Clearly labelled terminals, so you can wire without checking a pinout
- Solder-free connections that won't vibrate loose
- Plug-in socket, so the ESP32 can be removed for reprogramming or replacement
Screw Terminals or Header Pins?
Choose this terminal shield for finished projects and field wiring. For breadboard-style prototyping where you're swapping modules often, the 38 pin and 30 pin header shields are quicker to work with and add DC jack power input.
For pin functions, see our ESP32 pinout reference.
