Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-S3 Plus
Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-S3 Plus builds on the standard XIAO ESP32-S3 with an updated castellation design and pad layout on the back, adding extra SMD pins and upgraded flash for more demanding IoT projects. It keeps the same dual-core Xtensa LX7 processor running at up to 240 MHz, with full Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 support.
Expanded I/O and Memory for Advanced Builds
The Plus variant steps up to 18 GPIOs and adds a second UART and SPI interface plus I2S, alongside a B2B connector, giving it more headroom for advanced IoT projects, smart home devices, and professional wireless applications that need extra I/O. Onboard flash is also upgraded to 16MB, up from 8MB on the standard board, for larger applications.
Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with Long Range
The board includes a complete 2.4GHz Wi-Fi subsystem alongside Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0, supporting communication over 100m or more with a U.FL antenna, along with efficient power management including deep sleep consumption as low as 33.5 μA and integrated Li-ion battery charging.
Classic XIAO Form Factor
Despite the extra I/O and memory, the board keeps the familiar 21 x 17.8mm XIAO footprint with 2.54mm pin headers and single-sided mounting, and remains natively compatible with the full range of XIAO accessory add-ons, including connectivity modules, sensors, and actuators.
