WS2812B Addressable RGB LED Strip Black PCB - 5M 60 LEDs/m IP20
WS2812B Addressable RGB LED Strip Black PCB - 5M 60 LEDs/m IP20 has a 5-10 day lead time before dispatch. Order will only be sent once all items are available for delivery.
This is a 5 metre WS2812B addressable RGB LED strip on a black PCB, with 60 individually controllable LEDs per metre and an IP20 rating. Each LED has a built-in constant-current driver chip, keeping colours consistent even when supply voltage drifts slightly from 5V, and the strip is fully compatible with WLED, working well with controllers such as the Gledopto WLED ESP32 controller. With no waterproof coating over the LEDs, it's a straightforward, budget-friendly way to get started with WLED and addressable lighting.
The black PCB sits flush and unobtrusive against black aluminium channels, black enclosures, and dark mounting surfaces, and it hides dust and fingerprints better than a white PCB over time. If you'd rather maximise light output and reflection off the PCB, our white PCB version is worth a look.
Rated IP20, this strip is protected against dust and accidental contact but has no sealant over the LEDs, so it isn't suitable for outdoor environments or anywhere it could be exposed to moisture. If you need a rating that handles splashing, spraying, or fully exposed outdoor conditions, see our IP65 or IP67 versions. It's terminated at each end with a 3-pin plug, compatible with our JST SM pigtail connectors for extending or splicing runs, and can be powered with 5V DC from a microcontroller (not recommended for longer runs) or from a dedicated 5V power supply.

Long runs draw serious current, so make sure your power supply can keep up. The current figure above is the maximum draw under full-brightness white; typical colourful animations use a lot less under normal conditions. It's best to size up rather than down, since a larger power supply gives you headroom to expand your project later without needing an upgrade. Our WS2812B Power Calculator & Requirements Guide can help you work out exactly what you need.
