Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W Starter Kit - Barebones

The Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W Barebones Starter Kit has the core parts you need to start a compact Raspberry Pi project: the Zero 2 W board, the official Zero case and a 32GB microSD card with Raspberry Pi OS already installed. The board and case are official Raspberry Pi products, shipped from Australian stock.

What's in the kit

• Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W: quad-core 64-bit Arm Cortex-A53 with 512MB of RAM, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth on a board the size of a stick of gum.
• 32GB microSD card with Raspberry Pi OS preloaded: insert it and power on. No flashing required.
• Official Raspberry Pi Zero case (red/white): comes with three swappable lids (solid, GPIO access and camera mount) plus a short Zero camera cable.

Who this kit is for

The Zero 2 W suits small, low-power projects: Pi-hole ad blocking, sensors and home automation, robotics, retro gaming handhelds and headless servers you manage over Wi-Fi. If you'd rather not source the extras yourself, the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W Beginners Starter Kit adds a mini HDMI cable and a GPIO header.

What you'll also need

• A 5V 2.5A micro USB power supply, such as the official Raspberry Pi 12.5W micro USB power supply
• A mini HDMI to HDMI cable if you're connecting a monitor (the Zero 2 W uses a mini HDMI port)
• A micro USB OTG cable to plug in a USB keyboard or mouse

Running it headless over Wi-Fi? You only need the power supply.
