LED Driver Board for Seeed Studio XIAO is a compact driver supporting both 5V and 12V LED strips, including popular addressable RGB LEDs like NeoPixel WS2812, WS2813, and WS2815. It's compatible with all XIAO development boards, and when paired with the XIAO ESP32 series, it unlocks smart control through WLED and Home Assistant, making it a solid base for both simple LED strip projects and full smart lighting setups.
Wide LED Compatibility
The driver supports both 5V/3A and 12V/2A LED strips with built-in power regulation, covering single-color strips as well as addressable RGB LEDs including WS2811, WS2812(B), WS2813, WS2815, SK6812, and other 1-wire protocol LEDs.
Smart Control with XIAO ESP32
Paired with a XIAO ESP32-C3, ESP32-S3, or ESP32-C6, this board unlocks smart lighting features you don't get from a bare driver. WLED app support lets you control colours, effects, brightness, and build custom animations, with the ESP32-C3 the recommended pairing. Home Assistant integration via ESPHome adds remote control and automation, so your lighting can become part of a broader smart home setup rather than running standalone.
Flexible Power Input
The board accepts 12V/2A power through a standard DC adapter or direct DC wiring, using a universal 5.5mm x 2.1mm DC barrel jack, suitable for both temporary bench setups and permanent installations.

Built-in overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature, and short-circuit protection help keep your lighting setup running reliably and protect connected components over the long run.
Compact Form Factor
The space-efficient design allows for discreet installation near LED strips or in tight spaces, without compromising on the driver's full feature set.
Note that this expansion board isn't directly compatible with the XIAO nRF54L15 series, since Arduino isn't currently supported on that board. The hardware interface itself is fully compatible, so developers can manually adapt the software if needed, and official software support from Seeed Studio is in development.
