ESP32 S3 DevKitC-1 N16R8 + 2.4GHz Antenna
ESP32 S3 DevKitC-1 N16R8 + 2.4GHz Antenna has a 5-10 day lead time before dispatch. Order will only be sent once all items are available for delivery.
The ESP32-S3 DevKitC-1 N16R8 + 2.4GHz Antenna pairs our IPEX-equipped ESP32-S3 board with a 3dBi external Wi-Fi antenna. Mounting the antenna outside an enclosure, or away from metal and other electronics, gives you a more reliable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connection than a board antenna buried inside a box.
What's included
- ESP32-S3 DevKitC-1 N16R8 with IPEX antenna support: ESP32-S3 board with 16MB flash, 8MB PSRAM and an IPEX antenna connector.
- 2.4GHz 3dBi Wi-Fi antenna with SMA to IPEX connector: SMA antenna and IPEX pigtail that plugs straight onto the board.
Key features
- ESP32-S3 dual-core Xtensa LX7 at up to 240MHz, with vector instructions for AI and signal processing
- 16MB flash and 8MB PSRAM (N16R8)
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 LE
- IPEX antenna connector with the 3dBi antenna included
- Dual USB-C: one for programming over USB-to-UART, one for native USB (OTG, HID, mass storage)
- GPIO with ADC, UART, SPI, I2C, I2S and PWM
- Deep sleep for battery-powered projects
Connecting the antenna
Press the IPEX end of the pigtail straight down onto the board's antenna connector until it clicks. Attach the antenna before using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. The SMA end can be mounted through an enclosure wall so the antenna sits outside the box.
Recommended uses
- Devices in metal or sealed enclosures
- Remote sensor networks and data logging over Wi-Fi or BLE
- Smart home hubs and automation controllers that need a stable connection
- AI-enabled IoT devices on the ESP32-S3
Already have an antenna? Buy the ESP32-S3 DevKitC-1 N16R8 with IPEX support on its own. Prefer an onboard antenna? See the standard ESP32-S3 DevKitC-1 N16R8.
