6x10 RGB WS2812 Matrix for Seeed Studio XIAO

6x10 RGB WS2812 Matrix for Seeed Studio XIAO is an expansion board that turns any XIAO development board into a compact, colourful LED display, packing 60 individually addressable WS2812B LEDs into the same thumb-sized footprint as the XIAO series itself. It's a solid canvas for wearable devices, indicator displays, and any project that needs bold, controllable RGB output in a small space.

60 Individually Addressable RGB LEDs

The board is built around 60 WS2812B LEDs arranged in a 6x10 grid, each with its own integrated control circuit and RGB chip packed into a 1010 component, giving you full pixel-level control over colour and brightness across the whole matrix.

Splice Multiple Boards Together

Multiple matrix boards can be spliced together in sequence, provided you add extra power supply to support the additional LEDs, letting you build larger displays out of several boards rather than being limited to a single 6x10 grid.

Thumb-Sized and Widely Compatible

At 21 x 17.5mm, the board keeps the classic compact XIAO footprint, making it suitable for space-limited and wearable projects. It's compatible with the full Seeed Studio XIAO series as well as Adafruit's QT Py boards.

Note that this board isn't directly compatible with the XIAO nRF54L15 series, since Arduino isn't currently supported on that board. The hardware interface itself is fully compatible, so developers can manually adapt the software if needed, and official software support from Seeed Studio is in development.
