This 16 channel relay shield module is a 12V controlled relay interface board designed for reliable switching of high voltage and high current loads using microcontrollers and industrial controllers. It provides an easy and safe way to control multiple electrical devices from a single control system.

Each relay channel requires only 15 to 20mA of driver current and is controlled using two onboard ULN2803 darlington array driver chips. This allows the module to be driven directly from GPIO pins on Arduino AVR PIC ARM PLC and other compatible controllers without additional driver circuitry.

The board includes optocoupler isolation which improves noise immunity and protects the control electronics from voltage spikes generated by inductive loads. Standard control interfaces make wiring straightforward while onboard status LEDs clearly display the working state of each relay channel.

With relay contacts rated up to AC 250V 10A or DC 30V 10A this module is suitable for controlling appliances motors lighting systems and other high power equipment. It is widely used in industrial control systems PLC based automation and smart home projects.
