This compact PWM DC motor speed controller is designed for precise and efficient control of DC motors and compatible LED loads. Operating across a wide 5V to 16V input range, it provides smooth stepless speed regulation using pulse width modulation while maintaining high efficiency.

The onboard potentiometer also acts as the power switch. Turning it clockwise clicks the module on, with further rotation adjusting output from approximately 1% to 99% duty cycle. At the fully counterclockwise position, the controller is switched off.

The module supports up to 10A continuous current and can handle short bursts of up to 20A for less than 10 seconds. With a peak efficiency of up to 98% and extremely low standby current, it is well suited for continuous use in compact and power sensitive applications.

While primarily intended for DC motor speed control, this module can also be used as an LED dimmer. When dimming LEDs, ensure the LED is suitable for direct DC power and that appropriate current limiting is used, as LEDs connected directly without protection may be damaged.

Important Notes
The module must be connected to a load for the output to vary correctly. Measuring the output with a multimeter without a connected load may not show a changing voltage. For LED dimming applications, a suitable current limiting resistor or driver is required to prevent damage to the LEDs.
