The AS5600 Magnetic Angle Encoder is a high precision 12 bit non contact rotary position sensor designed for accurate angular measurement in robotics, motor control, CNC systems, and 3D printers. Using integrated Hall effect sensing, the AS5600 detects changes in a diametric magnetic field and converts them into precise digital or analog signals. With 4096 positions per revolution and a fixed I2C address of 0x36, this module is ideal for microcontroller based projects requiring reliable and repeatable angle feedback. The PCB measures 23mm x 23mm with 17mm between the centre of the mounting holes, making it easy to integrate into compact mechanical assemblies.
