- Standard Warranty: 12 months for all products. Low-cost hobby parts have a 90-day warranty unless safe handling is shown.
- Exceptions: Kits and interfaceable electronics may not be covered if damaged due to misuse.
- Returns: Contact support via your order confirmation email within 30 days of purchase. Items must be unopened and in original packaging. Proof of purchase is required.
- Defective/Damaged Items: Notify us within 14 days for a free refund or replacement.
- Return Shipping Costs: Paid by the customer unless the item is defective. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
The PCA9685 16-Channel Servo Driver is a versatile module that allows you to control up to 16 servos using only 2 pins via I2C communication.
Key Features:
- 16 Channels: The PCA9685 provides 16 fully programmable PWM outputs, each with a 12-bit resolution. This means you get a total of 4096 programmable steps for adjusting the duty cycle of each channel.
- I2C Interface: The module communicates over the I2C bus, making it easy to connect to microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi.
- Frequency and Duty Cycle Control: You can adjust the frequency of all 16 channels, which can be programmed from 24Hz to 1526Hz. Additionally, the duty cycle (pulse width) can be set from 0% to 100%.
- No Additional Arduino Processing Overhead: Unlike direct servo control using individual pins, the on-board PWM controller handles all 16 channels simultaneously without burdening your Arduino with additional processing tasks.
- Chainable: You can daisy-chain multiple PCA9685 modules together. In fact, you can connect up to 62 of them, controlling up to 992 servos—all using the same 2 pins!
